The FL-8 is the only camera in SpyPoint’s range that captures colour images at night. It is supplied with two interchangeable illumination modules, a 35 infrared (IR) LED module and a visible Flash Module. The IR LED Module allows for black and white images to be taken at night without any startling flash. If colour images at night are required, the IR module can be replaced with the conventional flash unit. The FL-8 has replaced the FL-7 model and benefits from an upgraded image sensor allowing for 8 mega pixel still image capture. It is also compatible with SpyPoint’s Remos technology which means it can be remote controlled (RC-1 Remote Control), remotely triggered (MS-1 Motion Sensor) and be used with the SP-IRB-W Infrared Booster all of which can be purchased separately. The FL-8 also captures 640×480 resolution video with sound – full colour in the day and black and white at night when the IR LED Module is fitted.

The FL-8 has a Camo bodyshell, and with its interchangeable illumination modules and compatibility with SpyPoint’s Remos technology, it is one of the most fully featured wildlife/hunting focused trail cameras on the market.
