The SpyPoint LIVE is a whole new breed of automated trail/surveillance camera that can be accessed via any internet enabled device such as a smart phone or computer. In addition to its unique wireless interface the LIVE has all the features found on cameras in the standard SpyPoint range.

When the camera is triggered a full 5MP picture is taken and is stored on the integrated SD/SDHC memory card. Simultaneously, a low resolution picture (160×120 pixel thumbnail) is sent via your chosen mobile network to your MySpyPoint account online (This needs to be set up prior to configuring the camera). Depending upon the camera configuration an email can be sent to the camera owner, alerting them that that camera has been triggered.

Your MySpyPoint account can be accessed via any internet enabled device so you can login using your home/work computer or even a smartphone. Once logged in to the MySpyPoint account, thumbnails of the pictures can be browsed, selected, and a larger 640×480 pixel image can be retrieved from the camera as required.

Although a sophisticated piece of technology, the SpyPoint LIVE camera is straight forward to use and comes with a comprehensive set of instructions. Once the setup of the camera is complete, the benefits of not having to visit the camera regularly – such as interrupting the baited area or travelling long distances – to review the captured pictures can be fully exploited.
