Product Description

.22 Caliber (.224) 69 gr. Tipped MatchKing (TMK)

New Product!  The #7169 was introduced in January 2015.

Sierra has enhanced a segment of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thus crowning the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The major advantage of adding a tip to the bullet is the reduction of drag, producing a more favorable ballistic coefficient.  Another benefit is reliable feeding in magazine fed firearms.
Although the MatchKing line is recognized around the world for record setting accuracy, like their untipped counterparts, Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullets are not recommended for hunting anything larger than varmints.  Having heavier jackets than our Hornet or Blitz line of bullets, these bullets will not provide the same explosive expansion on small varmints.

.22 Caliber (.224) 77 gr. Tipped MatchKing (TMK)

New Product! The #7177 was introduced in January 2015.

The 77 grain Tipped MatchKing (TMK) allows seating to an OAL that permits cartridges to be loaded into M16/AR15 magazines.

Although the MatchKing line is recognized around the world for record setting accuracy, like their untipped counterparts, Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullets are not recommended for hunting anything larger than varmints.  Having heavier jackets than our Hornet or Blitz line of bullets, these bullets will not provide the same explosive expansion on small varmints.

.30 Caliber/7.62mm (.308) 168 gr. Tipped MatchKing (TMK)

New Product!  The #7768 was introduced in January 2015.

Sierra has enhanced a segment of the MatchKing line by adding the acetal resin tip, thus crowning the Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line. The major advantage of adding a tip to the bullet is the reduction of drag, producing a more favorable ballistic coefficient.

Due to the decades of dominance of our 168 grain MatchKing (#2200) in our .30 caliber bullet line, including it in the new Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet line was a natural choice.

The 168 grain Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullet is an excellent choice for F-Class (F Open) matches, as well as 3-Gun and various other competitions.  Due to the ballistic advantage that the tip provides, the 168 Tipped MatchKing (TMK) will stay supersonic at 1,000 yards at normal .308 Winchester velocities, unlike its untipped counterpart.

Although the MatchKing line is recognized around the world for record setting accuracy, like their untipped counterparts, Tipped MatchKing (TMK) bullets are not recommended for hunting anything larger than varmints.
